Her name is Joyce, and she is working as an administrator of health in the Independence area. She is a compassionate and well-spoken advocate for change, and we look forward to partnering with her in realizing health project goals in Bella Vista.

We are Peace Corps Volunteers living in Bella Vista, a Spanish speaking village inland from Mango Creek and just south of Stann Creek District, Belize. April is from Texas, and Scott is from Oregon and everywhere else. We most recently lived in Logan, Utah, and miss the dry, mountain air.
April went to Baylor University and studied International Studies; she also did some of her studies in the Netherlands and nonprofit work with women in Mexico and Eastern Europe. Scott joined the Air Force out of high school, but after his 4 years, he realized that wasn't for him and began going to college, recently graduating with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering.
